Umrah and makkah updates:

We heard the news that makkah and madina is now open for every one and anyone can perform umrah.Yes, its true to some extent.

Many people are confused about whether kids are allowed or not.

1.Everyone can enter the holy mosque as they are not checking the permits at the main entrance of haram(courtyard before clock Tower )

2.Anyone with kids can enter in courtyard for prayers and you can pray without any permit.

3.For umrah permits are mandatory, without permit you cannot perform umrah. They check the permits in the courtyard.( Those who are saying they donot check permit, that can be their luck but they are checking,so its better to take permit)

4. For those who are still not vaccinated, you are allowed to pray in haram as the courtyard (outside area in front of makkah tower),first floor, second floor and roof are open for prayers.

But you are not allowed to perform umrah,as unvaccinated people cannot apply for umrah permits. Its better to take permit for your own safety. As according to the latest news anyone without permit will be fined for sr 10,000.

5. Pilgrims with kids are allowed to perform umrah with kids. Kids who are above 5 years and vaccinated can be registered on Tawaqalna and you can take umrah permits,as after permits they are allowed to perform umrah in Mataf.

6. Children under 5 years are not allowed in Mataf but if they entered in the mataf ,it depends on the mood or checking of the guards because sometimes they are busy and don't stop young children from entering mataf area.

7. Children under 5 years and new borns are allowed to perform umrah at first floor, second floor and at electric chairs. I saw women carrying their newborns at first and second floors.

8. If you are going to perform umrah during fast and you are not fasting just keep in mind their will be no zamzam available for drinking. So you should take your water bottle with you if you have kids with you or you are not fasting. Take some dry fruits and biscuits too if you want to stay long.

9. Permanent water coolers are available for wadu but at day time they remove disposable glasses so no one can drink water.

10. If you are coming from Riyadh,Damam or anyother city, just keep in mind that you have to park your car in kudai parking or other parkings reserved for pilgrims so make a separate bag for your family with all essential accessories required after umrah because you can't take to much luggage with you.( Those who are saying they were not checked, they allowed their car to go to hotel, again this is on the mood of the guards, sometimes they allow and sometimes they don't,so it depends on your luck and everyone is not lucky enough)

10. Book your hotel in advance to avoid any inconveniences,as makkah is fully packed with pilgrims and sometimes they gave your booked room to others if you don't reach at time.

11. Umrah permits are showing only two hours for umrah but it activated before six hours,so its better to avail these six hours if you are in Makkah or you are performing umrah with kids because Makkah is fully packed and it takes long time to perform umrah according to the rash hours.

12. You have to wait in long queue if you want to perform umrah on electric chair, but electric chair is best for women with young kids.

Tip:

13. All women who want to perform umrah but confuse about periods dates, can do neyat from mekat with condition. Recite dua for neeyat of umrah and recite this dua too so if your periods started before tawaf or you have to open Ahram, there will be no DUM..

The dua is as below 👇

إِنْ حَبَسِنِيْ حَابِسٌ فَمَحَلِّيْ حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِيْ

Updates about zamzam

Zamzam is the precious water we Muslims drink alot in our daily routine. It has countless benefits also.

Well,in Riyadh it is no more available in panda and othaim like before so you can take from makkah.

In bin Dawood it is available, four bottles per head. But at zamzam water plant it is also available and now rules for residents is again changed. Before only 2-4 bottles were allowed but now anyone above 15 years can take 20 bottles.Mashallah so you can take bottles and gift them to friends and relatives.

Updates about Madina and Rowda prayer

Madinah munawara is the sacred holy place where Muslims come for praying and zairah.

1. After Pandemic you have to take appointment for prophet mosque visit, but now it is open for all.

2. Kids of all ages are allowed to enter in the courtyard or from the gates, but they are not allowed in the mosque. I prayed one time with kids in women courtyard and second time they were not even allowed to enter in the courtyard of women. They stopped at the women's area gate and before prayer they allowed all the women with kids to pray in the courtyard ( sahan, outside area of the holy mosque). So if you want to enter in mosque you have to handover your kids to someone or if the are not so young let them stay at hotel.

3. Most important update is that taravee prayer is decreased and Now you have to perform only ten rikats at both holy mosques.

4. Now the update about permits which you take for praying in Rowdah.

*Without permit you are not allowed to pray in Rowdah.

*All those who are not vaccinated and wanted to pray in Rowdah,so sorry but you can't enter in that gate, they are checking stickly so its impossible.but you can pray in the mosque easily.

* Permits are only for half an hour and you should reach the gate before 1 or 1.5 hour so that the permit donot expire.

*Very important,

Take the screen shot of permit its mandatory because someone as they check the permit or in so much crowd a single press delete the permit and you can't take it again.

*Permits are showing 24 hours format so just keep it in mind as I missed my father appointment due to this small mistake. I want to take appointment of day time at 2-3 and actually it was at night 2-3,so when we checked the permit at day time it was already expired because I was confused with the date and time.

*It was very sad for us that he missed the appointment but the saddest thing is the penalty they have to face.If the permit expires and you are unable to come at time and you don't cancel it before time you can't take the next permit before 30 days.

Yes,you read it right, for one cancel permit you have to wait 30 days for the next appointment.

*Check the entry point and gate thoroughly because you have to enter from that gate.

For women its gate hazar usman bin Affan.RA number 24 and for men its AsSalam gate.

Keep in mind that 24,25,26 all are at same place. So now its time to explain my bad experience,

As I reached the gate I entered at gate 25 and I went to security guard he told me to enter from gate number 24 where they make a queue by arranging barriers...well, it was a long distance of one to 1.5 km I walk inside, cross the barries, and stand where all the mixed women were standing (mixed women means the women with and without permits who were trying to get inside the gate)

Well there were two ways, one was so much crowded, women were quarreling and shouting because no one was allowed without permit.

I showed the permit and one women showed the right way,the other showed the left way.I went towards the left way with the crowd and Showed the permit at the gate 25,as I entered into the mosque and I found many women without permits waiting for the door to open. I know I was on the wrong side and wrong gate so I came out from mosque, due to partician you cannot enter gate 24 directly.

Well,I came back where security guards were standing and I insisted if they open the barrier for me and I can go to the gate 24 but no one hears me.They told me to go again outside of the courtyard enter from gate 24, pass the hurdles again and then wait for the turn. During fast at day time,it was very difficult but I have to walk again nearly about 2 km and then I reached at the spot where these mixed women were standing and shouting. I showed my permit there,( I met a woman whose permit was ended by the security guard by pressing end by mistake, I saw a woman whose net was not working to show permit, I saw a woman who was trying to get the permit at the spot but no slot was available so keep your permit save before date and save screen shot in gallery)

Well after a long wait I was entered from the gate to wait in the courtyard,we waited for one hour to enter in the mosque.

Half an hour we waited in the mosque and after that we will be able to enter in Riaz Ul jannah to pray. Everyone have enough space to pray and no one fell on you while praying alhamduliah.

I prayed half and hour and as I came outside it was gate number 37 totally opposite to 24 so I left my slippers at gate 25 and I have to left that place bear footed. So keep your slippers with you so you can wear it when you come outside.

(I pick my slippers at next prayer time from gate 24, because it was very comfortable and I can't lose them.

I wish you have a blessed Ramazan and hopefully you will be able to perform umrah in this holy month.Do remember me in your prayers.

May you have a safe journey Inshallah.

I hope this blog will be helpful for your journey. For any questions and queries you can coment.
