Life in Saudia arabia is quite different from other countries. They have cultural and religious differences but all Muslims in the world prefer this sacred place because of makkah and madina.
Being a citizen of riyadh I never found riyadh or Ksa a boring city. It has many places and many attractions to visit.
If you are new here you can visit to these places and enjoy your trip to riyadh.

1.Wadi Namar




Most beautiful place in riyadh. You can find fish, ducks and natural beauty here. The view and construction is superb. But please avoid fishing as it is prohibited by the government. 

 2.Wadi Hanifa



A beautiful place for family picnic. People used to spend their weekends here.

 3.Wadi Laban


Wadi is actually arabic word for valley. Wadi Laban is also a good place to visit. In rainy days it is mostly flooded with water. Best place for winter picnic as you can take sun bath here.

 4 Historical dariyah

 The most beautiful place in riyadh is historical dariyah.
it is a cultral heritage.It has parks,shops,beautiful landscapes and you will find much more here.





5.Ad dirah

AD Dirah pronounced as Deerah is a place for shopping. you can find any type of abayas,shoes,bags,clothing etc. It is also known for its cultural heritage. different ceremonies are also held at Dirah on different occasions e.g national day,eid days etc.



6.Kingdom tower

kingdom tower is a 99 storey skyscraper in Riyadh. Its height is 311 m.
It has many shops,malls,hotels,offices. you can enjoy the top view of Riyadh from the sky bridge it really looks awesome.



7. diplomatic quarter
It is also known as AL SAFARAT and it is filled with embassies of foreign countries. It has residential compounds, parks and dinning areas. 






8.Al Thumama
AL Thumama is a desert and people mostly visit here to spend summer nights and winter days in desert. This desert have different attractions like hoprse and camel riding,jumping swings,sand buggies,quad biking and much more.




9.Haire

haire is a beautiful place where you can enjoy natural beauty.It has mountains and blue water. People came here for fishing.







10.Al Mazamiyah
Al Mazamiyah is 30 km away from Riyadh and it is also a good picnic spot for desert lovers. It is famous for quad riding.




11.World sight park
World sight park is an amazing place. you can find models of all famous places here like blue mosque Turkey, Eiffel tower Paris and much more. It is a good source of information for young kids. Mostly study tours are arranged by different institutions to visit this park.





12. Al Yamama resort
Al Yamama resort is in AL KHARAJ , the neighboring city of Riyadh. It is a beautiful water park which have water slides and pools.


13. Al Mashtal park AL KHARAJ
It is also located in alkharaj and it is also known as dinosaur park but keep in mind we found not a single dinosaur there. it was very disappointing for us. well , they removed the dinosaurs from this park as the reason is not known but the lush green gardens and sitting areas are too much refreshing.






14. King Abdulaziz park


It is very beautiful park. It has gardens, museum, play area, walking area,murabba palace and masmak fort. 


                                                    




15. King abdullah fountain park
This is an amazing park with dancing fountains. The colorful fountains look amazing. people come here to enjoy some quality time.

My first visit to "beauty saloon"

My first visit to a "beauty salon" in Riyadh, KSA.   Today I am going to review a saloon in riyadh, As it was my first experience of a saloon while living in KSA. Yes, you read it right, " first experience " it seems quite amazing but its true.Since five years I never went to a parlour for any kind of services or treatment as I did my facial, mani, pedicure, hair cutting, tinting, waxing, threading, etc at home. But after years, my husband convinced me for a hair cut. (I had long long hair mashallah but too much rough and had spilt ends too) Well, I went to a saloon as it was near to my residence. I was so much afraid because few years ago I entered into a saloon and I was surrounded by all arabic speaking ladies, I told them I am unable to speak Arabic so I left that place. Jaddah trip and eid vocations . Eid vocations are very charming for kids as they are so excited for eid after Ramadan. Alhamduliah on this eid we planned to perform umrah and after umrah we went to Jaddah. Jaddah is a beautiful attractive place. Everyone at Ksa know how beautiful this place is.no introduction needed,so in short Our Jaddah trip was amazing as we hired a boat on 3rd day of Eid . Jaddah is the beautiful place with amazing sun set beaches and resorts. Jaddah waterfront is also an attractive tourist destination.  It is newly constructed and we went to Jaddah waterfront too but it was quite late and people were gathered at jaddah waterfront like there is a sale going on....aahhhh...(in urdu we call it "jaysay laddu bant rahy hon" ) Well, coming to the point ,We went to dessert sea divers and hired a boat which has the capacity of 25 passengers.
