My first visit to "beauty saloon"
My first visit to a "beauty salon" in Riyadh, KSA.
Yes, you read it right, "first experience" it seems quite amazing but its true.Since five years I never went to a parlour for any kind of services or treatment as I did my facial, mani, pedicure, hair cutting, tinting, waxing, threading, etc at home. But after years, my husband convinced me for a hair cut. (I had long long hair mashallah but too much rough and had spilt ends too)
Well, I went to a saloon as it was near to my residence. I was so much afraid because few years ago I entered into a saloon and I was surrounded by all arabic speaking ladies, I told them I am unable to speak Arabic so I left that place.
The look of saloon from outside was good, I like the lights. As I press the door bell, I saw a sanitizer bottle on a chair,so after sanitizing hands I entered into the saloon, named "Beauty Saloon". My temperature was checked, (a good step during covid 19 situation)
There I met two humble ladies, one belongs to India and the other belongs to Pakistan. Thanks to Allah, my half worries were ended and I felt a bit relaxed. (finding your country fellow at such place is extremely relaxing)
Well it was time for magrib prayer so I offer my prayer, as there was a separate place for offering prayer which consists of a prayer mat and scarf. (I am specially mentioning it, as most people don't care about this matter, well i really admire this little effort)
Now, the services began. I went there for facial, hair cut and pedicure. I found there rates quite reasonable (i have mentioned i have never been to a parlour so cannot compare rates from others but as i have checked many rate lists on facebook groups it found it reasonable and affordable.)
They started from pedicure and liked their service. Both were very humble and talkative as many Indian and Pakistani women have habit of talking.
Their herbal facial was so refreshing and soothing. I really enjoyed it. It was so relaxing that I was feeling sleepy. She massaged my shoulders too.
After facial, She cut my hair. I have very very long hair mashallah so charged sr 75 for layer cutting.
All services and their charges are as under:
Hair cut sr 75
Herbal facial with bleach sr 150
Pedicure sr 80
Eyebrow bleach sr 20
Total bill was sr 325.
I was bleaching my eyebrows since five years but never got the perfect shape. I really liked the eyebrow shape after bleach as it was looking so nature neither too much thick nor too much thin.
I will highly recommend all ladies of riyadh living in Malaz or hara or near by areas, you can go there and enjoy their services.
I like their setup it was well organized and so attractive.
I hope you enjoy reading my first visit to the parlour. Hope you will enjoy too. Kindly do share your experience if you visited them.
